From May 16 to June 7, the University Job Center at Korea University Sejong Campus hosted the ‘2026 Spring Semester KUS Alumni Mentoring Program’ to enhance students’ understanding of various job roles and strengthen their career readiness. 

 

The program consisted of in-person mentoring sessions, bringing together current students and alumni. A total of 230 students completed the program, including 140 male and 90 female participants, demonstrating strong interest and participation. 

 

The mentoring group consisted of 60 alumni currently working across a wide range of industries, including major corporations, public institutions, the financial sector, IT companies, multinational corporations, research institutes, healthcare and social welfare organizations, and the aviation service industry. Drawing on their professional experience and job search journeys, the mentors provided practical career guidance and employment information to participating students.

 

The mentors introduced their companies and job functions, shared current recruitment trends, explained the key competencies required for their professions, and outlined recommended career preparation roadmaps by academic year. They also offered practical advice on resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, and other essential job search strategies. Through personalized consultations and Q&A sessions, students were able to address challenges they faced
