On July 9, the Sejong RISE Project Group at Korea University Sejong Campus hosted the “Sejong RISE 2026 Startup Demo Day” at the Smart Studio of the Sejong Joint Campus. The event was organized to strengthen the investment readiness of promising startups and SMEs in the Sejong region while providing practical opportunities for investment review and follow-up consultations with accelerators (ACs), venture capital firms (VCs), and other investment organizations.

 

A total of nine promising Sejong-based companies in the fields of future mobility, digital healthcare, and digital content participated in the Demo Day, presenting their core technologies, business models, market entry strategies, and investment plans. The participating companies were Riwha Networks Co., Ltd., TechBridge Co., Ltd., Lmate Co., Ltd., APAYOU, Care9 Co., Ltd., WithTree Co., Ltd., MPLAB Co., Ltd., Victorim, and 912 Communication Co., Ltd.

The event began with IR Sessions A and B, followed by an overall evaluation from investors, a commemorative photo session, and one-on-one meetups between investors and participating companies. Each company delivered a 10-minute investment presentation followed by a five-minute Q&A session, during which investment reviewers evaluated their technological com

petitiveness, market potential, business feasibility, and investment prospects.

 

Representatives from leading domestic accelerators, venture capital firms, and startup support organizations attended the event, including C&VENTURE PARTNERS, Korea Investment Accelerator, Rowe Partners, JNP Global, Jventures, Sloan Ventures, Sejong Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, Y&Archer, CNTTECH, and Bluepoint Partners. They reviewed each company's business model and growth potential while exploring opportunities for investment and follow-up meetings.

 

More than a conventional IR presentation event, the Demo Day was designed to enable participating companies to refine their business models and growth strategies from the perspective of professional investors. Following the event, the Sejong RISE Project Group plans to support follow-up investment consultations and commercialization initiatives based on investors' evaluation reports and the outcomes of the one-on-one meetups. It also intends to connect participating companies with various RISE business support programs.
